AccessSphere CIC – Terms of Sale for Digital Products
Last updated: September 2026
These terms apply when you purchase a downloadable digital product from AccessSphere CIC through accesssphere.co.uk or an AccessSphere checkout.
1. Who we are
AccessSphere CIC is a Community Interest Company registered in England. For questions about an order, contact: admin@accesssphere.co.uk
2. Our digital products
AccessSphere CIC sells downloadable educational and practical resources relating to social care, frontline practice and accessibility.
Product descriptions, prices and what is included are shown before purchase.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
Your purchase is complete once payment has been successfully processed.
4. Delivery
Digital products are supplied electronically. Where immediate access is offered, the product will normally be made available after successful payment through the checkout confirmation process or by email.
Please make sure the email address supplied at checkout is correct. If you experience a problem accessing your purchase, contact admin@accesssphere.co.uk.
5. Immediate digital delivery and cancellation rights
By purchasing a digital download for immediate access, you expressly request that AccessSphere CIC begins supplying the digital content before the end of the normal 14-day cancellation period. You acknowledge that once the download or supply of the digital content begins, you lose your statutory right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described or does not otherwise meet the requirements of UK consumer law.
6. Refunds and problems with digital content
Because digital products are supplied for immediate access, we do not normally offer refunds simply because you change your mind after supply has begun. However, your statutory rights remain unaffected. If your digital product is faulty, cannot be accessed, is materially different from its description or there is another genuine problem with your purchase, contact us at admin@accesssphere.co.uk so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
7. Personal-use licence
Unless otherwise stated, purchases are for the individual purchaser’s personal use.
You may download and use the resource for your own learning and reference.
You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, upload, share publicly or provide copies of the product to other people or organisations without written permission from AccessSphere CIC.
Organisations wishing to use a resource with multiple staff should contact AccessSphere CIC about organisational use or licensing.
8. Educational purpose
AccessSphere resources are intended to support learning and professional development.
They do not replace:
- employer policies or procedures
- individual care plans or risk assessments
- regulated or specialist training
- professional or clinical advice
- legal or regulatory requirements
Care workers should always work within their competence, role, employer requirements and the needs of the individual being supported.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, design and materials in AccessSphere digital products remain the intellectual property of AccessSphere CIC and/or the identified author.
Purchasing a product gives you permission to use it under these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
10. Marketing emails
Purchasing a product does not require you to agree to receive marketing emails.
Where you are offered an optional marketing checkbox, you will only be added to that marketing list if you actively choose to subscribe.
You can unsubscribe at any time.
11. Privacy
Information about how AccessSphere CIC collects and uses personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
The terms that apply to your purchase are the version made available to you when you place your order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
